The Holy Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. This triune God is the Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and worthy of all worship and adoration. Each person of the Trinity is distinct yet inseparable, working in perfect unity to accomplish God's divine plan for humanity and creation.
The Father is the loving and sovereign Creator, who orchestrates all of history according to His perfect will. The Son, Jesus Christ, is God incarnate, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, and rose again, conquering death. The Holy Spirit is the Comforter, Guide, and Empowerer, who indwells believers, enabling them to live a life pleasing to God and to fulfill His purposes.
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct. We affirm that God supernaturally superintended the human authors, ensuring that their writings accurately convey His message without error.
The Bible is not merely a collection of human wisdom or historical accounts; it is God's living and active revelation of Himself to humanity. It provides guidance for daily living, reveals God's character and plan of salvation, and equips believers for every good work. We are committed to diligently studying, faithfully teaching, and obediently applying its truths in our lives.
Salvation Through Grace
We believe that humanity is inherently sinful and separated from God due to the fall of Adam. Salvation is entirely a work of God's grace, not a result of human effort or merit. It is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who, through His atoning death and resurrection, provides forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God.
When an individual places their faith in Christ, they are born again by the Holy Spirit, justified before God, adopted into His family, and given the promise of eternal life. This transformative experience leads to a life of repentance, sanctification, and joyful obedience to God's will, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
The Church and Its Mission
We believe in the universal Church, comprised of all true believers in Jesus Christ throughout history, and in the local church as a visible expression of this universal body. The Church is called to worship God, nurture believers through discipleship, and proclaim the Gospel to all nations.
Our mission is to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded. We are committed to demonstrating God's love through acts of service, compassion, and justice in our local communities and around the world, reflecting the light of Christ in all we do.
